Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to this year’s 16th annual Komen Maryland Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This race was held on Sunday, October 20th in honor and in memory of all those individuals whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. There were approximately 32,000 participants that walked, jogged and ran to help raise more than $2.8 million!

Gotügo, a diamond sponsor of the 2008 EYC Boat Show Bash, is proud to donate its time and services to the event. This special event takes place on Saturday, October 11th at the Eastport Yacht Club in downtown Annapolis, MD. It is a celebration emphasizing the significance of the marine and sailing industries of Annapolis. The EYC Foundation and the education program of the National Sailing Hall of Fame are two of the party’s beneficiaries. This is one of the many fundraising events gotügo has contributed to this year.

Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to the 1st annual Living Classrooms’ “A Night at the Yards 2008” fundraiser in Washington, DC. Proceeds from the event support the non-profit organization and their successful hands-on education and job skills training provided to a diverse group of individuals, particularly at-risk youths in the National Capital Region.

Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to this years Hospice Cup XXVII in their efforts to help various hospices including the Hospice of the Chesapeake, Capital Hospice, Montgomery Hospice and the Community Hospices. This special event will take place on Saturday, September 27th with the hopes of surpassing the $7 million dollars raised to date since the inception of the event. The funds raised during the Hospice Cup regattas help cover the costs of services not covered by Medicare and private insurance companies.

This is one of many fund raising events that gotügo has participated in this year. Gotügo has been serving the Baltimore/Washington business and social sector since 1980. For more information on Hospice Cup XXVII, please go to www.hospicecup.org.

Gotügo was proud to donate their time and services to this year’s “HonFest” on June 14th – 15th. The proceeds from the HonFest will go to Project Twelve, founded by Denise Whiting, owner of Café Hon, in the effort to decrease the high school dropout rate of teenagers in Baltimore. Once a small festival starting in 1994, it has grown into a nationally recognized event covering four city blocks on Hampden’s 36th street.

This years HonFest attracted more than 60,000 people that utilized gotügo’s new “signature green” portable restrooms along Hamden Street to help make HonFest a success! Gotügo has been serving the Baltimore/Washington business and social sector since 1980 and was happy to contribute to the celebration. Gotügo has announced a partnership with the Anne Arundel-based Habitat for Humanity. As part of their pledge, gotügo will lend the use of their portable restrooms to the construction crews at Habitat for Humanity sites. By offering their services, gotügo will be saving the Arundel Habitat another expense in their quest to build quality homes for low income families.

Gotügo was proud to donate its time and services to the Baltimore March of Dimes event “March for Babies” held on May 3, 2008. Gotügo contributed close to a whopping 100 of their brand new “signature green” Standard Portable Restroom Units in addition to their Handicap Restroom Units for the event. Gotügo was happy to participate in the fight against premature birth which touches half a million babies and their families each year.

Baltimore-based Tilt Studio Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is helping to preserve Baltimore’s forests and greenways by bringing together more than 350 local artists, designers, students and local businesses to produce city banners creating awareness for Baltimore City’s parks and trees.
